Salvation is available, but we must act to receive it.
This month, we’re looking at the scriptures in the Roman Road, a roadmap to salvation:
Part 1 – Everyone has sinned.
Part 2 – The price for sin is death, but we get eternal life instead.
Part 3 – Jesus’ death on the cross is part of His love story for us.
Today, we get to the nitty-gritty of salvation:
What action(s) must I take to get this free gift?
There are 2 actions listed in Romans 10:9, “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”
Two Easy Steps:
- Confess Jesus Christ as Lord.
- Believe God raised Him from the dead after His death on the cross.
Short list. Notice it’s not about how often you go to church or how much money you give.
Confess and Believe. It’s all about what comes out of your mouth based on what is in your heart. It’s all internal.
