Salvation is a gift.
We are moving down the Roman Road scriptures that explain our path to salvation.
Today’s verse is Rom. 5:8, “God demonstrates His own love toward us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
Let’s review:
Part 1: Everyone messed up and can’t hang out with God.
Part 2: The price for sin is death, but we get eternal life instead.
Now part 3:
Even while we were sinners, Christ died for us. His death is the payment. It’s already taken care of. He redeemed us like green Stamps [read about that here]
Basically, Romans 5:8 tells us how we can get around the “price of death” from part 2. Jesus died for us as a sign of God’s love! The cross is His love story of salvation!
