November brings new season…
Thank you to everyone who read along for my 31Day Challenge – Before Your Novel. I hope to transform it into an ebook soon. Until then, you can find all the posts linked from my page: 13prayers.com/31days.
As we approach the holidays, I am reminded of loss. My family has experienced loss that now taints what should be joyous times. I pray that this is not the case for you. But if your heart is heavy during the holiday season, my grief course may help. Good Grief is a way to work through grief with a Biblical base and an art journaling format. Here at home, I’m encouraging my MIL and Hubby to participate with me in a Gratitude Building activity throughout November. More on that later.
For me, November means moving forward from the 31 Day Challenge and heading back to my usual posts. I’m planning to post about my Bible journaling on Tuesdays. I hope to update you on my writing each Friday. While I don’t intend to join the November rush into NaNoWriMo, I will be prepping for the novel sequel and considering a detour into a children’s book. I will be asking for your input on that soon. So if you have little ones or grands, please consider topics that a picture book series could explore.
For now, I’m picturing myself sitting on that bench above and soaking in God’s artistic skill with His heavenly November paintbrush. Join me, will you?
And while we sit and marvel at God’s skill in Creation around us, think on what is
- true
- honorable
- just
- pure
- lovely
- commendable…as Phil. 4:8 instructs us to do.

OOOh, I want to join you on that bench Kathy! What a beautiful picture.
Kathy Shaull says
I’d love to be there with you. We could sit back and soak in the sun and the Son!
